Degrease the part, peel the liner off gradually and smooth the film with a squeegee from the centre outwards. Heat bends moderately and do not overstretch the material so the pattern stays undistorted.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Question: Is a 1.52 m × 10 cm piece enough for a trim or moulding?
Answer: Yes, if the part including the folding margin is no wider than 10 cm and no longer than 1.52 m. One piece is not enough for wider elements, so measure the part in advance.

Question: What does the 6D marking mean on the light gray L-6DCF-04 film?
Answer: 6D marks the version with a three-dimensional carbon-look pattern in this range; on L-6DCF-04 it comes in light gray. Compare the shade with neighbouring parts so it is not confused with the gray version.

Question: Is a heat gun needed to apply this film?
Answer: Flat areas can be done without one, but bends and edges need warming. Heat moderately and do not overstretch the film, or the pattern will distort.
