The Vitol NG-0260 double muffler tip turns a single exhaust pipe into two round outlets. The inlet is 64 mm, the two outlets are 89 mm each and the overall length is 250 mm. The body is galvanic chrome plated and fully covers the stock pipe, so the rear of the car looks as if it had a split exhaust. Choose it by the pipe diameter and the width of the space under the bumper.

Double tip: 64 mm inlet, 89 mm outlets

A split tip is chosen when you want to change the look of the exhaust without modifying the muffler or adding a second pipe. With two 89 mm outlets and a 250 mm length it needs more free space under the bumper than a regular tip, so measurements matter here.

WHAT TO CHECK BEFORE BUYING

Measure the outer diameter of your pipe and compare it with the 64 mm inlet.
Measure the free width under the bumper: two 89 mm outlets must fit there.
Check for brackets, a towing eye or a heat shield near the pipe in the way of the 250 mm body.
Make sure the pipe exits horizontally: with a steep angle both outlets will point downward.

Key benefits

Two 89 mm outlets create the look of a split exhaust without modifying the system.
The 250 mm length lets you bring the outlets to the bumper edge.
Galvanic chrome covers the darkened stock pipe.
Selection by three dimensions is simple and can be checked with a tape measure.

PROFESSIONAL TIP

During the test fit, set both outlets exactly level and at the same distance from the bumper, marking the position on the pipe: with a double tip, even a small tilt is more visible than with a single one.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Question: Can the NG-0260 tip be fitted to a pipe smaller than 64 mm?
Answer: Yes, if the tip can be centered straight on the pipe. The larger the difference in diameter, the higher the risk of misalignment, so in that case the fixing is often done at a workshop.

Question: What do the dimensions 250 × 2-89 × 64 mm mean?
Answer: They are the 250 mm overall length, two outlets of 89 mm each and the 64 mm inlet for the pipe. The pair of outlets is wider than a single tip, so check the space under the bumper.

Question: Does the double tip change the exhaust sound?
Answer: No, the design is decorative and only changes the look of the outlet. The sound is determined by the stock muffler.
