WHAT TO CHECK BEFORE BUYING

Measure the length and height of the headlights along the curve and make sure each piece, with a margin at the edges, fits within the 1 m × 30 cm cut.
Count how many lights you will cover: if all the pieces do not fit on one cut, you will need another one.
Keep in mind that the chameleon shade changes with the viewing angle and lighting, so it may look different in a photo and on your headlight.
Check your local traffic rules on film colors for vehicle lights.
Inspect the headlight: cracks, chips and clouding should be fixed before application.

Key benefits

The film takes the impact of small stones and gravel instead of the headlight glass or plastic.
The chameleon shimmer changes the look of the headlight with the viewing angle and lighting.
The 1 m × 30 cm piece can be cut to the shape of a specific headlight.

PROFESSIONAL TIP

Cut the pieces for a pair of headlights from the same cut and place them on it in the same direction, so that the chameleon shift looks the same on both lights.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Question: Is a 1 m × 30 cm piece enough for two headlights?
Answer: It depends on the size of the headlights. The pieces are laid out along the cut, so the combined width of both headlights plus edge margins must fit within 1 m, and the height of each within 30 cm.

Question: What does the Purple-Chameleon color mean?
Answer: It is a purple film with a chameleon effect: its shade changes with the viewing angle and lighting. Colored film holds back part of the light, so look at a switched-on headlight through the piece before application.

Question: How do I avoid bubbles under the film?
Answer: Apply it wet and push the solution out with a plastic squeegee from the center of the headlight to the edges. If the film does not sit well at the edges, warm it slightly with a heat gun and press it down right away.
