Sturmovik Anti-Puncture Tubeless Tire Repair Kit (8 pieces) for all vehicles (AC-109)

A bulk refill pack of reinforced raw rubber string plugs (50 pieces, SKU: AC-50) by Shturmovik, designed to replenish automotive repair kits for the reliable sealing of tubeless tire punctures.

Tubeless Tire Repair String Plugs Shturmovik (50 pcs)

Frequent driving on poor roads or operating within the commercial transport sector quickly depletes standard emergency tire repair kits. Purchasing entirely new kits complete with tools is financially impractical when only the consumable materials are needed. The Shturmovik AC-50 refill pack solves this inventory issue by providing 50 high-quality reinforced raw rubber strings (without insertion tools). These plugs boast exceptional elasticity and adhesion, reliably sealing the puncture channel in the tire's tread patch. This is the ideal consumable format for auto repair shops, commercial delivery fleets, and experienced overland travelers who already own a metal reamer and insertion needle.

Key Advantages of the Refill Plug Pack

Cost Efficiency: purchasing a bulk pack of 50 consumable strings is significantly more economical than repeatedly buying complete kits with redundant metal tools.
High Tensile Strength: the internal nylon cord prevents the rubber string from tearing or snapping when being forced through the rigid steel belts of heavy-duty off-road tires.
Universal Compatibility: the Shturmovik raw rubber plugs are universally sized to fit and function perfectly with standard T-handle insertion needles from any other tool manufacturer.
Reliable Sealing: the chemical composition of the material ensures rapid cold vulcanization with the tire casing upon contact with an activator cement.
Extended Shelf Life: the strings are securely protected against drying out within their factory packaging, retaining their natural elasticity and tackiness over long periods.

PROFESSIONAL TIP

Raw rubber string plugs lose their elasticity and become stiff in freezing temperatures. If you are repairing a tire on the side of the road during winter, you must warm up the string before use: hold it in your hands for a few minutes, place it near the car's heater vent, or gently warm it with mild ambient heat. A soft, warmed plug will pass through the tire's abrasive steel cords much easier, will not snap under the tension of the needle, and will react significantly faster with the cold vulcanizing cement.

FAQ

Question: Do I need to use a special glue when installing these strings, or are they completely self-adhesive?
Answer: While the strings are extremely tacky to the touch, creating a monolithic and permanent seal strictly requires the use of a specialized activator cement (cold vulcanizing fluid). The cement must be applied to the reamer tool to prep the puncture channel and directly onto the string before insertion. Without glue, the plug may eventually leak under high-speed driving stresses.

Question: Are these string plugs strong enough to repair punctures on Light Truck (LT / C-rated) tires used on commercial vans?
Answer: Yes, the thickness and heavy nylon reinforcement of these plugs allow them to reliably seal direct tread punctures in light commercial vehicle tires (such as transit vans and utility trucks). However, for heavy-duty commercial semi-trucks operating at pressures above 80-100 PSI, specialized reinforced mushroom patches must be used.

Question: How should I store this large pack of strings so they don't dry out and lose their vulcanizing properties over time?
Answer: Raw rubber degrades when exposed to ultraviolet light and extreme heat. Store the pack in a cool, dark environment (for example, at the bottom of your trunk, under the floorboard next to the spare tire). The golden rule is to keep them out of direct sunlight and sealed inside their original zip-lock bag or factory wrapper to prevent the rubber's volatile compounds from evaporating.
